   i wonder why all the heros shout the name of their attacks before attacking o.o i kinda gives their opponent a heads up on where they are and when they will atack. it also takes some time and leaves them open xD like when luffy shouted “GUMO GUMO JET STAMP” if he just stamped lucchi, then he probably wold have hit him

    What I think is that the shouting of the attack’s name is just for the viewer’s knowledge. They are not doing it an actual combat, but thinking aloud to let the viwer’s know what the attack is called.

    Another theory is what Ichigo said in Bleach during his fight against Byakuya … ” Knowing the name and saying it aloud makes the attack 5 times more powerful’

    @ opperson and @Leo : ..well its kinda obvious that they do it for the viewers knowledge and also for the entertainment, but they don’t do it in actual combat..because umm…they don’t have actual combat because they dont really exist =P …and if they wouldn’t scream out their attack names, then the opponent could still avoid the attack…it’s just what the creator makes of it =P..( don’t mean to be a fun-spoiler)
